My Story
Welcome to my Page! My name is Jack Tourangeau, and I’m a proud alumnus of Central Michigan University’s Broadcast & Cinematic Arts program. My love for broadcasting sprang from long car rides home with my Dad after my baseball games, where longtime Detroit Tigers radio broadcasters Jim Price and Dan Dickerson were always present. I’ve always been partial to the radio broadcasts and the storytelling that it brings; my goal with broadcasting is to tell players’ stories, focusing on those human-interest features that I always loved to hear, and to hopefully be a meaningful part of a child’s youth, just as Dan, Jim, and all of the Tigers media team were for me as a young baseball fan.

Under the HighSchoolStreaming.com umbrella, I have covered both Boys & Girls high school athletics. This includes playoff coverage as well
Experience in 7 different sports
During my time at CMU, I had the opportunity to call Division 1 Women’s basketball as well as Softball for the Chippewas. Since my Employment with HighSchoolStreaming.com I have covered Baseball, Softball, Football, Girls Soccer, Boys & Girls Basketball, and the 2025 Michigan Swim and Dive State Finals with the NFHS Network.
Experience Writing & Producing Pregame Shows
During college, if not doing PXP or Color Commentary, I would often produce the pregame and halftime shows for CMU Baseball, Softball, and Basketball. Currently at HighSchoolStreaming.com I am a one-man band. I produce all my own pregame shows, conduct coaches interviews, postgame shows, as well as play all advertisements while on Air
